FEASIBILITY STUDIES
Archer Building Consultancy Ltd undertake feasibility studies either as a single instruction or part of a capital project.
With many years of experience, in the education sector, we are best placed to fully support you during this process and assess the viability of your project proposal.
We know that it is essential for our clients to understand from the outset if a project is worth taking forward and to be prepared for any obstructions they may encounter during the project. By looking at the viability, cost implications and assessing legislation and planning we are able to highlight any potential areas which may need further consideration in order to be fully prepared prior to a project commencing.
Generally, our study will include:
A detailed measured survey
Production of existing and proposed plans,
Building works timeline and project cost breakdowns
An assessment of any planning requirements
Assessment of Soil & environmental conditions where necessary
Assessment of Mechanical and electrical services where necessary
An asbestos R & D survey (as required)
We charge a very competitive fixed fee for straightforward projects*, which are determined at Archer Building Consultancy Ltd’s discretion, with all other projects quoted against complexity. However, in line with our policy of providing schools with best value, should you proceed with Archer Building Consultancy Ltd administering the project, then our feasibility fee will become part of our overall total fee percentage.
*Please note: Our fee does not include for any of the following which must be borne directly by the Client: Specialist soil testing, Electrical, Mechanical and Structural Engineer’s fees, asbestos surveys, statutory fees including Planning and Building Control, all as required.
